Free Screenings for Faith Communities

For a limited time, we are offering churches, places of worship and faith communities the opportunity to host FREE screenings (for up to 50 people), made possible by our partners Spreading Sunshine and Innerhive!

To take advantage of this offer, please complete the form at the bottom of this page or reach out to info@caregiverdoc.com and let us know the format (live virtual, on-demand or in-person) and the date and time of your screening. We’ll provide details on how to get everything set up.

This offer is made possible by:

1. Determine the type of event you would like to host.

Live Virtual

Your screening event will be at a set date and time, online. We provide you with a branded live virtual cinema. Your audience can watch the film from any location, at the exact date and time of your choosing, in a synchronized stream. Includes the option to, enable a live text chat feature during the event, and host pre/post show live video broadcasts (such as a welcome message, panel discussion or Q&A).

On-Demand

Your screening event will be on-demand, online. We provide you with an easy way for your audience to watch the film online, on their own time. You set the dates for a designated viewing window (1-30 days). Attendees will have 48 hours to finish the film once they start it. You can optionally host your own online discussion groups for further engagement.

In-Person

Your screening event will be at a set date and time, in-person. Host your event at any location, like a meeting room, auditorium, or even a local theater. You’ll have access to securely download and play the film with our Offline Cinema Player.

2. Plan bonus content to maximize your impact.

Add “bonus content” to your screening event to make a bigger impact! Some possible ideas include:

  • Panel Discussion – Invite leaders to discuss the concepts presented. Invite attendees to submit questions for your panelists.
  • Caregiver Stories – Invite caregivers from your community to share their personal stories.
  • Discussion Groups – Set up discussion groups where attendees can explore their thoughts and reactions.
  • Workshop – Get experts (therapists, doctors, coaches, etc.) involved to host a follow-up workshop that would serve your audience.

We provide discussion guides to facilitate conversation.

3. Promote your event.

We provide customizable materials for promoting your event. Your package include:

  • Host Screening Guide with tips and best practices for planning and running your event.
  • Viewer Screening Kit with discussion guides and resources for viewers. Available in English and Spanish.
  • Blank graphics, film still images and film clips for email and social media campaigns.
  • Access to the film trailer for sharing.
  • Sample social media post templates.
  • Sample email templates.
  • Sample templates for a press release, event presentation, postcard and flyer.

4. Leverage your event as a fundraiser. (Optional)

Your organization can position your event as a fundraiser! There are 3 ways to raise funds, and you keep 100% of the proceeds:

  1. Sell tickets to attendees.
  2. Request donations during registration or as part of your event program, and in follow-up communications.
  3. Secure corporate sponsors or partners.

We have a variety of tools, templates and best practices you can use to maximize your fundraising efforts!

5. Consider optional ways to enhance your screening.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON: Invite the Film Subjects to Join Your Event

Invite the film subjects, Jess and Ryan Ronne, to join your event. They can participate in a panel discussion or Q&A with your audience. Contact Jess for a custom quote based on your event details.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON: Provide Care Packages for All Caregivers

The Lucas Project will send care packages for your screening event that include spa items, gourmet coffees and teas, and simple gifts. It’s a lovely way to “see” the caregivers in your audience and recognize their hard and holy work. Cost is $15/box, payable to The Lucas Project, a 501(c)3.
