How It Works

We are partnering with churches, places of worship and faith-based communities to start the conversation about individual, organizational and systemic solutions to support caregivers and their families.

Read on to learn more about hosting a screening event with your faith community. If you don’t see what you need or would like to discuss a custom option, please get in touch at info@caregiverdoc.com.

1. Determine the type of event you would like to host.

Live Virtual

Your viewers can watch together at set date and time, online, from any location, at the exact date and time of your choosing, in a synchronized stream. Includes the option to, enable a live text chat feature during the event, and host pre/post show live video broadcast (such as a welcome message, panel discussion or Q&A).

On-Demand

Your screening event will be on-demand, online. We provide you with an easy way for your audience to watch the film online, on their own time. You set the dates for a designated viewing window (1-30 days). Attendees will have 48 hours to finish the film once they start it. You can optionally host your own online discussion groups for further engagement.

In-Person

Your viewers can watch together on a set date and time, in-person. Host your event at any location, like a meeting room, auditorium, or even a local theater. You’ll have access to securely download and play the film.

2. Plan bonus content to maximize your impact.

Add “bonus content” to your screening event to make a bigger impact! Some possible ideas include:

  • Panel Discussion – Invite leaders to discuss the concepts presented. Invite attendees to submit questions for your panelists.
  • Caregiver Stories – Invite caregivers from your community to share their personal stories.
  • Discussion Groups – Set up discussion groups where attendees can explore their thoughts and reactions.
  • Workshop – Get experts (therapists, doctors, coaches, etc.) involved to host a follow-up workshop that would serve your audience.

We provide discussion guides to facilitate conversation.

3. Promote your event.

We provide customizable materials for promoting your event. Your package include:

  • Viewer Screening Kit with discussion guides and resources for viewers. Available in English and Spanish.
  • Blank graphics, film still images and film clips for email and social media campaigns.

4. Determine your screening size and cost.

Single Screenings

Pricing is based on the total number of viewers at your screening. You can start with the lowest number of viewers you expect, and increase the number before your event as needed.

  • Extra Small (Up to 10 total viewers): $50
  • Small (Up to 25 total viewers): $100
  • Medium (Up to 50 total viewers): $175
  • Large (Up to 100 total viewers): $300
  • Extra Large (Up to 200 total viewers): $500
  • For more than 200 viewers, purchase an unlimited subscription!

Unlimited Subscription (Best Value!)

Pricing is based on the length of time you have access to the film. Within your subscription period, you can host multiple viewings in any format (virtual, on-demand, and in-person) for any number of viewers.

Invite the film subjects, Jess and Ryan Ronne, to join your event. They can participate in a panel discussion or Q&A with your audience. Contact Jess for a custom quote based on your event details.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON: Provide Care Packages for All Caregivers

The Lucas Project will send care packages for your screening event that include spa items, gourmet coffees and teas, and simple gifts. It’s a lovely way to “see” the caregivers in your audience and recognize their hard and holy work. Cost is $15/box, payable to The Lucas Project, a 501(c)3.
